What is a consignment store?
A consignment store is a retail store that specialises in consignment sales. Consignment shops provide vendors with a place to sell and display their merchandise. The shop decises what they are willing to sell and for what price. After the sale is completed, the consignment shop and the vendor split the profits. If an item does not sell after a certain period of time, the owner has the ability to retrieve the items back or donate them.
I'm sure many of you are constantly giving away items that you no longer need. While charity is commendable it does begin at home - so how about making some money for yourself instead? (you could always donate the money to your favourite charity!).
Here at Consigning Women, we not only resell, but we also accept creations from artists and artisans as a platform for showcasing and selling their work. Do you make soap/ Knit/ Sew? Crochet? Paint? let us know! We would love to sell your work.
Please contact us on consigningwomenmalta @gmail.com if you would like to collaborate with us
