CONSIGNMENT AGREEMENT

I, the undersigned, hereby consign the item(s) listed to CONSIGNING WOMEN for a period of 90 days. Prices will be set by management at the time of consignment. _________________________________(Consignor) is subject to the following Terms and Conditions. It is understood that CONSIGNING WOMEN will make reasonable efforts to sell all consignments. CONSIGNING WOMEN does not guarantee the sale of any consigned items.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. The Consignor will receive 50% of the selling price excluding special fees and taxes of all items sold through CONSIGNING WOMEN’s behalf.
2. If the Consignor chooses to use store credit for purchases, the Consignor will receive an extra discount of 10% on a one-time purchase.
3. On the 5th of every month, cheques for money due will be available for the Consignor. Cheques will not be issued for amounts less than E10.00. Accounts under E10.00 will accrue until the minimum is met. Consignor has the option of picking up the check at CONSIGNING WOMEN or leaving a self-addressed stamped envelope for mailing. Checks must be cashed within six months of issue or will be voided. Voided checks will not be re-issued and the funds will be considered a donation to CONSIGNING WOMEN.
4. Consignor account balances remaining inactive for one year will be cancelled and the balance will be considered a donation to CONSIGNING WOMEN.
5. CONSIGNING WOMEN will set all prices and may reduce the price at any time without prior notice to the Consignor.
6. Consignor guarantees that items brought in are legally theirs to sell.
7. All items consigned at CONSIGNING WOMEN will be consigned for a period of 90 days. At the end of 90 days it is the consignor’s responsibility to pick up items that consignor wants returned to them. If items are not picked up within 7 days of notification the said items will become property of CONSIGNING WOMEN.
8. It is the consignor’s responsibility to remember the consignment period expiration date. CONSIGNING WOMEN will make one reminder phone call/email to come retrieve consigned items.
9. Consigned items may be removed from the available customer inventory at any time without prior notice to the Consignor at the discretion of CONSIGNING WOMEN
10. CONSIGNING WOMEN reserves the right to refuse any item for consignment.
11. All consignments are at the Consignor’s risk. CONSIGNING WOMEN will not be held responsible for any claim to merchandise on consignment. CONSIGNING WOMEN assumes no responsibility for loss, damage by fire, theft, handling by customers, accident or any other cause. ALL CONSIGNED CLOTHING MUST BE NEW OR NEXT TO NEW, IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, CLEANED PRESSED AND ON HANGERS.

All unsold items to be reclaimed by consignor at the end of the consignment period must be picked up within 7 days of notification or will be automatically donated. One telephone call will be made to the consignor as a reminder prior to donations.
